John Peri 1,029 Posted December 4, 2014 Another selfie Pierre? .. : -) Reminds me of a striking phrase I read recently by Lord Byron .. "I wish men to be free as much from mobs and Kings - from you as me". Sometimes our entrapment is self imposed, but more often it is forced on us by others, such as on the unwilling subject above. The photo is impressive, even more so for it's anthropomorphic, human-like qualities. A touching image with much symbolism attached, an interesting contribution Pierre. Link to comment
AJBart 9 Posted December 4, 2014 Well done Pierre!!!!! It took me a minute to really see it. One of my favorites!! AJ Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted December 4, 2014 Pierre, Another fine contribution to your collection of montage type images. I agree with and like what John Peri posted, well said.BR,Holger Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted December 4, 2014 Not a selfie, John! I was told by someone that those who snap selfies all the time are psychotic! And stopped photographing myself!Maybe some guys are willingly entrapped! But this one was a colleague of mine in a school and I once asked him for permit to put his photo on my desktop in the computers room and he said why yes, of course! And I said: Do you want to see the picture first and he replied, no need of that, I know what a photographer you are! Then people waited in row to see my desktop and to fall down laughing! Therefore, there isn't much philosophy and psychology on this one, it was made just for fun! Thank you for your serious exploration! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 260 Posted December 4, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Wolfgang! The features are human, it's my former colleague with master degree and he would be offended by the many interpretation of his face as anthropomorphic monkey, ha! PDE Link to comment
