Pierre Dumas 266 Posted December 4, 2014 I love the scene, old little hut hidden in the trees and stone stairs and fence! Wonderful indeed! Best regards, Christal! PDE Link to comment
Bill J Boyd 64,587 Posted December 4, 2014 Christal,Very nice. When I look at the larger view it feels as if I can experience the walk up to the cabin. Great leading lines that takes your eye right up the path of stones and leaves. Well done. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted December 4, 2014 The "save to web" technique strips the exif data so I couldn't check the date to see if this is in the Smokies. I don't recognize this cabin if it is. Regardless, a great shot with excellent tones and leading lines. Well done in b/w... Mike Link to comment
andresfaya 0 Posted December 4, 2014 I like the grays and the leading path to the log cabin. I like how the cabin is framed by the stones and the trees, how the door is framed in the cabin and how the window on the other side fits into the door. Well seen, thought and executed. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted December 4, 2014 Pierre, Bill and Mike......thanks, fellas! I would love to know the history of this little bungalow. But I also liked the leading lines and couldn't resist taking a few pictures of it. Glad you liked it as much as I do! Mike.....yes, this in in the Smokies. It's up above the Elkmont Campground up the road where you get to the Little River Trail and Elkmont Nature Trail. There are a bunch of abandoned buildings up there......all condemned with 'no trespassing' signs up. How I would love to have explored more, but it probably wasn't safe, and I usually obey signs (tho' not always, truth be told!). :-) Link to comment
