Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Thank you, Grigoriy! You are the first commentator in five hours, maybe others don't think they should say anything! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted December 2, 2014 I like me too this one more than bw one, gives me more details and a different way to feel, just my opinion.my best regards Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Radu! Yeah, this one is hardly noticeable film scan! As you say, more details! PDE Link to comment
donev1 723 Posted December 2, 2014 Interesting result, Pierre. In BW version I saw a tired hard working man, but here I see a hard smoking man and may be not so hard working. Impressive portraits! Link to comment
memoromano 3 Posted December 2, 2014 bravo un manifico ritratto ti confesso che oer me è un vero piacere guardare le tue opere tanti saluti da gerolamo Link to comment

magua 0 Posted December 2, 2014 Magnifico ritratto, espressivo e forte! Mi è piaciuta moltissimo la versione in B&W, ma se dovessi scegliere tra le due in questo caso preferisco quella a colori!! Bravo come sempre!! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Thank you, Ruud! You are mostly a B&W photographer and as I replied on your comment on the B&W version that one wasn't near to the technical quality of your B&Ws! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Right conclusion, Evgeni! He was very dynamic and talkative person and had seen a lot of things in life, some kind of an adventurer! Thank you for your input! PDE Link to comment
AJBart 9 Posted December 2, 2014 I spent some time viewing both images. I like both and as someone has already said they both have merit on their own. I prefer the color version. I was originally going to say it has more detail but I think they both show the same detail. For me I believe it is the added realism that the color provides. Well done. AJ Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Grazie, Gerolamo! E 'un grande complimento quando lo dici! Grazie mille!PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Thank you, Holger! He shows some more energy on this one and the details are shown better on this one, yes! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Grazie, Maurizio! Mi sembra tutti i commentatori sono con stessa opinione! Penso che sia a causa della scarsa qualità della scansione che perde maggiori dettagli in B & W versione e per il generale apprezzamento della fotografia a colori!PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 2, 2014 Thank you, AJ! I just said to Maurizio that all the commentators seem to like more the color version, but you expressed a bit different view and opinion! PDE Link to comment
charo 3 Posted December 2, 2014 Another vote for the black and white!Although the color version is good too, I still prefer the previous one. Kind Regards,Rosario. Link to comment

photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted December 2, 2014 Hi Pierre, Sorry I am late. I guess I will have to vote for the b/w also. This one is just as interesting. Take care, Patsy Link to comment
Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 3, 2014 Thank you, Rosario! You are turning the voting to the B&W version, thank you! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted December 3, 2014 Thank you, Maria! The voting has definitely turned to the B&V counting the comment on the B&W page by John Peri! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
