'Station Steps'

Sometimes serendipity arranges everything, including colors, 'just so' as in this photo,

taken on steps near Kyiv, Ukraine's central train station. Your ratings, critiques and

I like this image. Simple composition, simple colours, good texture work good. The only problem is the left telephone booth. The blue looks unnatural and oversaturated. Probably this is because of the angle the light falls on. Anyway I would try to desat the left booth. Take care, Vlad.

This is one of those situations that every photographer hopes to come upon every once in a while -- simple, good placement, good colors, etc., all as you have explained.

I'll admit that while the left telephone booth looks 'oversaturated' that's because it was in shadow, and it's shown in original.  Perhaps some desaturation would help it blend in more, but it also would then make this photo less 'original' -- a choice I had to make.  Thanks for calling attention to it.
