Very nice, Laurent. I love the simplicity of composition and color in this picture. I'm presently visiting friends and family in northern California so I haven't had the opportunity to comment much. I'll have a lot to catch up on when I get back.

Dear Laurent, your image speaks for itself. If it survived the storm, it all makes sense ... battered, lame... but proud!, surrounded by small stones that seem pearls.

Here we say, "if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger", then ... it is the case of this plant. Congrats Laurent, it tells about encouragement as well.

Kindest regards, Laura Marco.

Thank you.I figured you were away and I missed you always pertinent observations on mine but also others' uploads.Wish I were also there in California given our winter has arrived with a bang with a lot of snow.....but that's how it is.

Thank you so much for looking in and for the thoughtful observation. This grass is now covered with snow and will surely ice-up when the tide rises and will perk up sometimes next spring when the ice breaks up.I like to think that people here are relatives to this grass, just as tough(me excluded) to live through these hard winters.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
