Very nice composition with the hand guiding all the views to the face of the model.

I like how the eyes, the smile and the necklace attract the viewer so much.

Things I would consider: the face looks a little "plastiky". I don't know if its a desired effect or maybe very shiny make-up.

I prefer the part of the background which is indistinct. The man grabbing something from the back doesn't quite fit for me.

As usual in your portraits, the eyes work very well.

I hope i can be as honest as possible Lynn? Background is important when taking a photo just as or even more so than the subject. Background here? I prefer more detail in her face and less in the hat. She is really just a woman smiling? Is this photo interesting? Its not bad.

Hello

This is a superb casual portrait or street scene if you will. Your tones are spot on. Please disregard that Misinformed individual Jack Live or whatever his name is. He clearly doesn't have a clue of what a good portrait is, check out his portfolio you will find nothing.

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for your appreciation. As for Jack Live, I too had taken a look at his profile after he left very low ratings and comments edging on rudeness. I may just be misinterpreting the meaning of the comment so, I always give a positive outlook on people who may have a different view point and hope to discover something interesting. But all I found was an empty portfolio and a lot of comments reflecting his own unhappiness. Comments he just threw out, and did not ever looked back at the polite answers he got back from the artists. These unhappy people always seem to peek out during holidays, as they probably are made more aware of their unhappiness... I don't let them dictate my mood!

I think it is indeed the makeup she was wearing. It was even worse in color... I could try adding skin texture in PS. I will play with it!

Thanks again for your input

Sincerely, Line
