Not Here 93 Posted November 21, 2014 If your question is about photography, I think it's a very good high key presentation. You addressed the tricky lighting very well. If it's about the subjects, then there's a very puzzling role reversal going on ;-). Well done either way... Mike Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 21, 2014 Yeah, well I know what's wrong with it from a photography standpoint, but I couldn't really control that. The young girl had bright light in her face , the mother's face was in deep shade and the background was really bright. But I couldn't exactly ask them to move or the moment would have been lost. It just told such a wonderful story so I couldn't resist sneaking a picture of them. I only got one shot before the girl looked up. I just found it an amazing reversal of roles... And besides, how many young girls this age would be seen out in public sitting on their mother's lap? I thought you might like this one because you're an expert at getting pictures of people in their natural environment. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 21, 2014 Even though the exposure was difficult, my first post was too high key and bland looking to me, so I tried bringing back some of the shadows to give it a bit more dimension. I know it's not a great image, but the story was worth posting, IMO. Thanks! Link to comment
