This is a perfect landscape image, in my opinion. Nice lighting, beautiful colors and tones. The jagged water adds interest. Nice work!

Yet another gorgeous landscape, Dave!! I like how the little channel of water leads your eye through to the shimmering lake and the snow-capped peaks. Nice colors in the foreground grasses and great clouds! That's it, I've had it, I'm coming to Alaska, dangit! I know I could convince my flyfisherhusband! :-)

Beautiful composition and light. Makes me wanna go there myself :)

I think it lacks a tiny bit of contrast though, and the middle tones are a bit dark. I took the image into PS and added an adjustment curves layer and some contrast. I've attached the file so you can see how it turned out. I guess this is a matter of personal taste though - and I really like how you've prestented it as well :)

Mr K is apparently trying hard to become the master of the graduated filter. It is obvious in all of his photos, - there always a line of unnatural demarcation where the sky and terra firma meet. This imaqge is a prime example - the top of the mountains are much darker than the base, which are shrouded in atmospheric haze.

Mr K should learn to shoot without cheap tricks and sharpen his digital darkroon techniques to produce more honest yet still visually interesting images. Ansel Adams must be spinning in his grave like a high speed dental drill.

Beautiful light, technically well handled and a fine compostion Dave. With regard to the previous comment - PN certainly is an amazing place - I for the life of me can't figure how anyone could find digital manipulation more honest than the use of a graded neutral density filter...
