Thanks for viewing/comments! Ford's Terror has a very narrow entrance with fast flow

current (hence the name) which people can even surf here. There's only a brief window

of slack time to get in and out each day .. through the narrow entrance with rocks here

and there underneath ..

Great shot of that beautiful Lord Nelson 35! I know first hand the anxiety of going thru swift tidal currents at the wrong time in a small boat. Boy do I remember aptly named "Hell's Gate" in New York City's East River! Slack tide is the time you want!

Thanks Warren! I think the water flow there can be up to 35 knots at time and the Magic can only do 6,7 knots , hence, slack time is the only time it's safe to enter. My Bro' got the navigation chart hook up to the GPS and according to the chart we were about 15, 20 feet on land while we actually were in the stream. Some of those rocks at the entrance don't look too friendly either, lol.
