Wayne Sadler 556 Posted November 14, 2014 At 145 Central Park West, The San Remo, whose residents have included such personalities as Tiger Woods, Dustin Hoffman, Glenn Close, Bono, Rita Hayworth, Bruce Willis…- ok, enough name dropping- is one of New York’s oldest and most dazzling buildings in the historic west side district. But to me it is my landmark to find my way out of central park. The park is obviously designed to get you lost. There is no direct path to anywhere. In fact most paths lead to dead-ends so to speak. So I had to give homage to this building with photos because after walking the park for hours (being lost for hours) there was something comforting about looking up and seeing this building and feeling hope that I would eventually find my way out of the park. Wayne Sadler 556 Posted November 14, 2014 Maurizio and Radu,Many thanks. I was surprised at how well the composition seemed to work. While I saw other tourists trying to avoid tree limbs in their pictures, I found myself searching them out. Link to comment
