Floatline!

The rain turned to light snow stuck to the wet surface leaving a

vignette-type effect around the sheltered parts of the net laid out on

the wharf apron for repairs.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Love this one.  The dichotomy of the fishing nets and snow stands out and the composition is excellent with the floats leading into the remainder of the winter scene... Mike

It really wasn't an ideal day to be out as that small half-wet and cold snow was coming down....but I had an hour to spend as my wife was at the hairdresser,so to the wharf.These nets were on the apron with some of the unmelted snow from the previous batch still nudged against the floatline and the new snow sticking to the wet ashalt like some sugar frosting,but most importantly with no tracking to disturb the scene.The light was not that great which left some work in PP.Glad you like...thank you.

Glad you like this one;I took several shots of these nets as the soft sprinkling of snow made them stand out against the damp asphalt.I guess the filtered light work well in this case.
