Great shot Michael!

These are called "Pitcher Plants" for obvious reasons and they are actually carnivorous like the Venus Fly Trap! Bugs are attracted to the pitcher by it's bright colors or nectar tubes and then they fall into liquid and get digested.

They are all over FL where I live!

Beautiful shot, Michael, of gorgeous representatives of the plant world that, in reality, are vicious sadistic carnivores!! They lure in the hapless bug, and down they slide to the bottom into a lake of woe..Once in, never out!! You've made they look so inviting! (heh!)
