Large view available. I risked parking on the side of the road and

hiking onto the narrow walkway along the Lake Britton bridge to

capture this array of autumn in the rain. The image is captured with

my trusty point and shoot. I will be posting a couple more images

from this bridge in the next couple of days. Your comments are

valued and appreciated. Larry

Ruud,   Thanks for your visit and comment.  Bad weather rewards photographers.  I have perused your portfolio and must say that you excel at your passion of street photography.  I particularly like the black and whites.  The unhappy bride is a nice series.   Thanks again.  Larry

The sky / cloud patterns seem more pronounced in this image and I would take advantage of that by pulling down a digital ND Grad in Lightroom (if you haven't tried it you really should it can make a real difference to an image)  After that I would crop the bottom of the image to just below the start of the reflection on the left. Of course this is just my instinct to make these adjustments, I don't profess that they are right or correct.

Again I love the colours and autumnal mood in this one!

Compliments & Best Regards

Bjorn,  Thanks for looking at this image; I agree, the calmness of nature is beautiful and serene.  I was lucky to have the time to get off the interstate and explore a back road.   Larry

Alf,  I really appreciate your weighing in your detailed thoughts about these few images from my backroads adventure.  I certainly will play with the ND filter in Lightroom or CS6 to make the sky more dramatic.  Also I think that the crop you suggest would create a second image from this one.  Thanks for being so helpful.  Larry
