Trapped!

This lost lobster trap got covered by the overnight snow;I took this

low shot of the distant lighthouse and used it to anchor the

scene.What do you think of this image?Thank you-Laurent

I shot it for the sky as you detected;the lobster trap was a good prop for this down in the snow take.Glad you like.

I like the fan-shaped clouds and the warm lobster trap as your foreground interest. Makes for a very beautiful shot. I can appreciate the lighthouse in the distance but it representation is quite small in the image. Even with that I still like this very much.

For a 2nd shot, I think I would have gone running towards that light house and see if I found any foreground interest to grab a shot there while making sure that I incorporated some of those delicious clouds. 

Thank you for your take on this.I think you are right and normally,my dog and I would have taken that walk towards the lighthouse,but on this occasion,I had a visitor with me and neither he or I were dressedv properly for an outing on that windy beach; I ventured out to steal a few shots and walked back to the car when my hands were numb from the cold.Nevertheless,it was a fruitful drive out to the lighthouse and I managed to get some good(biased opinion) shots with quick stops at my favorite spots under the season's first snow.
