This is quite the artwork. I like the feel of it and the composition is good too.

A lava-born prince perhaps, :-)   Fine effort Petraki, you've outdone your self!    The color palette is exquisite. I wonder if young prince is happy with your categorising him ,ha! ( as you say!)

A new birth arising from the ashes .. ?

 

the sun will engulf us all one day and we must inevitably be reborn into a new form, since matter can neither be created or destroyed. At least that was the belief until recently, though particle accelerators may already show otherwise. 

 

I continue to see your images, beautiful creations irrespective of any particular meaning, as scions for the fantasmic interpretation of others which makes reading people's comments almost as interesting as the images themselves.

Dear Pierre,

It's the choice of the texture of "snake" what gives this image the true evil omen of this birth.

Taking into account, spinning abstract curves, the colours used, the sun / bright light that gives a very powerful significance... all of this make it unique.

Well, I'm a mother, I have a son ... the only thing is that I can not think about any child born evil, being babies so sweet, so helpless. To me that evil would be born from a very different origin, other than Humanity, for example only in a source of energy. Not in humans.

Be my hope that Humanity can choose to improve everyday. A unique and a very special work, human and abstract, together hand by hand!.

Nobody said anything about rebirth, the prince is born and the son of the evil one are only that you could read here and about the persistence of matter and rebirth I can only say that  when something alive dies, the matter is still there, but it's all the same dead, ha!

Nobody said anything about human neither, the son of the evil one was born, the evil one is far from human as we all should know!

You well noticed the defective skin, like something else, something other than human and you didn't notice the look in the eyes, evil look, sly and ugly!

It is not a common human baby and you wrongly approach to it with motherly feelings! There was a film at the time called "Rosemary's baby" of Roman Polanski and that mother knew there was something wrong with her baby because it was devil's son!

Pierre, I see an exploding sun in you image, hence my comment regarding what could follow.

 

It is actually a fascinating period. We are living on the threshold of discovery, matter and antimatter in the vacuum of space, new theories regarding dark matter, where it all came from and consequently where we are going ... rebirth?!  

 

Thus was my analogy to your artwork. 

Regardless of meaning this is a masterpiece....One of your best creations yet. Bravo.

I already answered to that! Should we believe in rebirth only because of the discovery of antimatter and dark matter! It doesn't make sense! And that is not sun, the shining thing! It's the center of the earth! That's hell amigo! Very hot and our souls, if they really exist will melt down in a minute! Whatever they are made of!
