Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 3, 2014 Thank you, Maurizio! I also think so, only the face is rather neglected in regard of perfection! Ciao PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 3, 2014 Thank you AJ, I think I also prefer that one, but this one also has some charm, especially the green face of our friend! PDE Link to comment

photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted November 3, 2014 Hi Pierre, Wow...wonderful creative image, I love the fog in the background it just add's to the image. Excellent work!! Take care, Patsy Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 3, 2014 Thank you, Patsy! It was the intention for me to learn how to make artificial fog, I did some 3-4 foggy pictures and that was all, I'm glad you like it! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
overdiep 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Pierre, In the face of the 'death' there isn't any compassion. The fog can not disguise the inevitable and cruel reality. Impressive image. Best regards. Link to comment
charo 3 Posted November 3, 2014 Hi Pierre, I always enjoy your pictures and especially the comments on them. I love your sense of humor! I hope that death is not waiting for me... :)Kind Regards,Rosario. Link to comment
donev1 699 Posted November 3, 2014 Zdravej Pierre! Impressive work! Green face? I like foggy trees. I like your fantasy and imagination. Best wishes. Link to comment
lauramarco 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Dear Pierre, let's see ... I'll be very specific, to the point ... I'm getting ready for developing a new composition and I always cut off from all for several days, but not before telling you what I like about your work, Pierre ... is ... the rictus! definitely... bitter, like sneering ... that smile, those corners of the lips give strength to your work. The use you make of green-blue emerald colour is also interesting and your fog is amazing, one has to know how to do it!, not easy at all :)You've conquered Death's grimace, an eternal waiting, always ...Sometimes I'd comment much more than I do but it's not my mother tongue (like for many other members) and I must revise again and it's twice as hard. Congratulations! Continue surprising us! Warmest regards, Laura Marco. Link to comment
hyde 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Great, Pierre! A very strong effect from this image. Best regards. Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted November 3, 2014 well timed for haloween .. : -) very effective .. the strong colour in the foreground brings the attention to the figure and enhances the effect of that piercing expression. A strong and powerful image. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 3, 2014 There's something highly theatrical yet conversely "deathly" real about this picture. It's an image that sticks with you. Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted November 4, 2014 Death is coming to get us all sooner or later no one can escaped it, but we can postponed until later, 89, 99....or 104, who knows it is always an adventure to cross over and find out what happens! As always food for thought in a grand way! Warm regards my dear friend. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 4, 2014 Hey, Marco! No compassion you say...neither was compassion in my face when I instructed my students, ha! I mean taking lifes is Death's job, strictly professional approach is expected therefore, why compassion! Thank you for your original comment! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 4, 2014 Thank you Rosario, Death's not waiting in fact, it comes and takes! We are those who are waiting and sometimes we are taken by surprise, ha! Cheers to that! Thank you for your kind comment! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 4, 2014 Dear Laura, I had to look in my dictionary fur the word rictus and I didn't find it! On first glance there's maybe a sneering on the Death's face, but when you look more thoroughly there is not a sneer, the face is deadly serious and, as I said above - professional! Maybe indifferent which is to be expected! There is no grimace as you say neither, maybe you see things according to your prejudice about Death and maybe I don't see my failure to make what I'm saying I made! Thank you for your thorough exploration which maybe helps my prejudice's faults! Everyone may see death differently and on the other hand it may be determined by the religion, life attitudes etc! Best regards PDE Link to comment
