Not Here 93 Posted November 3, 2014 I like this, but if you include more fence would you have to have some of the road? Good one... Mike Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 4, 2014 Pierre, the fall color wasn't at its prime yet, but this tree was 'begging' me to take it's picture.....thanks! Mike....this is the shot I took out of your car window. I know....I'm the lazy photographer! :-) If I had just gotten out your rear view mirror would not have been in the way and I could have included a bit more fence. We went back the next day and I wanted to get this shot again, but the light on it was unremarkable then so I passed. Ernest...thanks so much.....glad you like it! Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 4, 2014 Yeah, the light always seems to be that way, better just before I get there or better after I leave ;-). I just couldn't recall from the brief glimpse I had of the screen if the fence could be more of an element. It's certainly excellent as is... Mike Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted November 17, 2014 A perfect embodiment of Fall. The green grass gives a sense of 'early fall'. I wonder if I would have stepped back a bit turned the camera ever so slightly to the right to get more of the road or path to increase the sense of depth in the image. It is easy to be an armchair quarterback (*_*). Still a nice shot as seen here. Thanks for your recent visit. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted November 27, 2014 I agree with you. Funny story about how I shot this. I was sitting in the back of Mike Mancil's car and literally shot this out of the window. I couldn't get more of the fence line because Mike's rear-view window was in the way. He asked if I wanted to get out, but there was a long line of traffic behind us in Cades Cove (fall colors) and I said no. So I just took the lazy route and shot out the window. It was cool to meet Mike and his wife finally. We decided that we need to get you down here for a visit sometime! :-) Link to comment
