Bill J Boyd 64,099 Posted November 3, 2014 Line,A great capture. It is well focused and tack-sharp. Sundance Square is one of my favorite locations in Ft Worth. Warm Regards, bb Link to comment
LineMartel 6,097 Posted November 3, 2014 Glad you like it! Sundance Square was completely remodeled and now is a pedestrian plaza. And there is a large covered area which was much needed to get away from the merciless Texas sun..... Link to comment
mountaineer1965 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Great job using the paper as a natural reflector. I also like how we can't quite see what he's drawing, adds some nice drama. Congrats Link to comment
lex_jenkins 13 Posted November 30, 2014 Pretty nifty to see that familiar (to us locals) backdrop in this context. That's the trompe l'oeil cattle drive mural in the background. So there's a bit of art-within-art meta-narrative. And it's not an easy place to photograph in daytime, especially on sunny days. The reflected light is a gorgeous golden color, but it's also very contrasty with lots of deep shade and brilliant highlights. The artist's sketch pad serving as a reflector really helps here. Good to see folks enjoying this space! Just a few years ago it was a parking lot but the Sundance Plaza Square makeover is much more inviting. Link to comment
