Goat skull in moonlight, 2003 (on warm toned fiber paper)
Software: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.4 (Windows);
©Lex Jenkins 2014.
B&W print made in 2003 from unidentified b&w negative film in Rolleiflex 2.8C TLR. Probably one of the handful of films I typically used - Tri-X, FP4+, TMX or HP5+. Printed on either Agfa or Ilford glossy fiber paper, probably dried on my Arkay single sheet drier judging from the slight remaining buckling and waves, typically less than my air dried prints. Possibly a warm tone paper developed in Alta Zonal Pro warm tone developer and toned in Paterson Acutone selenium toner - this warm coppery look is very typical of that combination, which I used often back then.
Unfortunately upon close examination this print was quite dusty, which showed in the scan more readily than to the eye. Took quite a bit of work in Polaroid's great old dust and scratch removal software, with some final touchups in Lightroom 4.4. Wish I'd kept my old Umax scanner - it was better than the HP all in one I have now.
