lauramarco 0 Posted October 25, 2014 Dear Pierre,To this image I think I could offer an interesting interpretation, I do not know if it'll be your initial intention, but nice all at least. Here I go: The apple will always be a symbol of temptation for the world of Christianity, so an apple in front of the cameras, it is certainly a symbol of the aim that all who love photography search for: the thing to be photographed. The apple is what drives us to get the camera and shoot, what makes us go outside to look for moments, places, people etc. they're subject to be immortalized. The apple is the required and desired image. What gives meaning to lens, click and would be the gears that move photographers. Ummm ... I think you'll like it. Your treatment as to look like a painting, like done with a brush, it's very interesting and looks nice. I'm not a supporter of frames, and they're not actually very used, but for portraits, though they are very striking. Then, I have a short but very nice audio composed by a friend of mine, a young composer. Who taught me to play guitar, have you heard? There's a link in my last upload, "Fresh Air" recording © JCS. I recorded at home. Do you like Spanish guitar? it has soul, I'm very fond of it. I do not know what do you usually hear there, as folklore. Perfect composition, well matched colors and delicate and interesting treatment. I like it!, as always.Kindest regards, Laura Marco. Link to comment
billsymmons 0 Posted October 25, 2014 Hi Pierre Definitely pre-digital. But the b&w/colour printing remains digital. Times gone by! All my best, Bill Link to comment
Tina Karina 47 Posted October 25, 2014 Hi Pierre,I agree with Nebojsa's comment old and fresh. As always perfect and brilliant ideas you have. I came back from Europe a few days ago and I think I missed some of your images.Best regards, Tina Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 25, 2014 Dear Laura, It's for sure that when I become famous I will use your interpretation of my images as mine (if you don't mind and don't, because it will never happen, ha)!As for the effect used it was to cover the artificial enlargement (the series of small photos was made for my website "School of photography")!Of course I like Spanish guitar, but you could make a hyperlink for me to get to your song easily! Thank you for your thorough and imaginative comment! Best regards PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 25, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Bill! As I could write a huge book about the advantages of the digital I'm so angry of the pre - digital wasted time, money and efforts of three thirds of my photographic life! Yet, I have kind of nostalgia for those times! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 25, 2014 Hey, Tina! I missed you so much and wish I could tell you that the primitives in Europe also have Internet, but you didn't tell me you were about to go there (here, to be precise)! I'm happy you're back and ready to spend sevens on my pictures Cheers to that PDED Link to comment
lauramarco 0 Posted October 25, 2014 Dear Pierre,Thank you for your compliment about my comment, I was a little embarrassed to put the link here... (you've got many followers) because it's not photography in itself, but Art after all, I'm very fond of this young composer (my teacher) and I wish him a brilliant future. It's a pleasure for me you may listen to it! I spent many hours playing. Not only do I love photography; There are many things really beautiful. I hope and am sure you'll be famous. That I desire you from my heart. By the way, I couldn't stop me from reading when looking for your reply, certainly in Europe we have Internet and much more... much more :) we're very advanced.Kindest regards, Laura MarcoHere you are, though it's less private, I've got far less more followers than you do ;) (thank you!) "Fresh Air" recording © JCS What's the link for "School of photography"? I'm really interested. Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 25, 2014 Dear Laura, You are playing quite well, but you should record more of it! I could never imagine to play guitar, but I played a mandolin when I was a kid, I played in the school orchestra, Nebuchadnezzar was the name of the opera we performed (only the chorus of the Hebrews, though)! Long gone!My photography site doesn't exist anymore, but I made it quite well, it was long time ago! It was in two languages, mine and English! Best regards! PDE Link to comment
