luda_luda 0 Posted October 20, 2014 Hello Pierre, I love your car exhibition, and the symmetry as well as the different colors that add interest to the image. The car are scaling in a wall that can bee also seen as roads. This could be also the different roads of life and how we go from the bottom to the top or vice versa, depending on the choice each person made in life, adding with each choice the colors of good, bad, happiness or misery. Your compositions are always full of interest and details, made me always think and realize how wonderful photography is. We can say so many with not words at all, and this is your way of art. Warmest regards Pierre, and keep us putting our brain to work!LuDa Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 20, 2014 This is wonderful, Pierre, a picture that projects a feeling of innocence and child-like play. Glad you're still in touch with that side of yourself. For all its simplicity it seems to resonate on many levels. I'll put this in my favorites. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 20, 2014 Thank you Jack! You made my day, it is made when I was (felt like) twelve, now I feel like five and can't make anymore of such pictures! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment

lauramarco 0 Posted October 21, 2014 Dear Pierre,I'm sure about one thing: I really like your pictures, but sometimes I'm afraid of not knowing well how to interpret or approach to them. You make us think: why do you mix different sizes, dimensions ... because it gives a strong feeling of "unreality"?.I can see big steps and small cars, but at the same time it doesn't seem to be this way. Looks like a different dimension that we do not know. I like it. It is difficult to get your feelings. There's a very slight tilt to the right, as my husband always hangs on walls paintings a bit leaned :)Good lights, expressive colors, yellow is very striking!.An amazing masterpiece! it's hard to find meaning in things involved in the image, anyway wonderful. Congratulations! Kindest regards, Laura Marco. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 21, 2014 Thank you AJ! There is no use of light, my friend, the shadows are made afterwards and the stairs are flash lit from above! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 21, 2014 Dear Laura! Of course it looks unreal because it's surreal picture! As I said to AJ, these are three stairs from the terrace to the yard and the picture was taken vertically, from above, later it's been straightened up and the VWs added in different colors and shadow also added! It isn't a masterpiece, although I want to hear that word when my pictures are in question, ha! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
color 3 Posted October 21, 2014 I like it Pierre. Very creative and fun image. The shadows are a good touch. Link to comment
felixphoto 0 Posted October 21, 2014 Top class composition, great style of three layers and legendary VW bug in different colors. Svaki put nešto novo i uvek originalno. Mislim da bi sam VW trebao da iskoristi ovu fotku za neki retro katalog. Veliki pozdrav. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 22, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Chuck! The shadows were an easy task to do! Drop shadow and adjust the angle, that's all! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted October 22, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Sreten! This picture, I think is infantile which is good, not bad statement! Volkswagen has better things to do, ha! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
