This is something that fits right in with how I see the world. The sotto voce commentary and humor behind the almost minimalist picture stimulates and satisfies a certain part of my mind. You're like a fellow traveler unexpectedly encountered on a long hike through the backwoods.

@Amy: I like your comment, because it describes very well how I think a successful composition should work - and, what I hope to achieve every now and then in my photos.

@Jack: great minds think alike :-) - somehow, I was anticipating, that you'd  fully understand this photo. Seems, that indeed we have to some extent a similar "vision" (and perception of the world - I could very will sympathise with your 'rant' comment to Passenger Side esp. "I feel like a curious observer in an alien world"...).

i see a free canvas anything is possible? a great wall for graffiti or a mural?

many thanks for your comment - great idea! While it does not look like that, this is in some very rural area - far away from street artists. However, it would be a great place: it's at the foot of the Brocken - so, many fairy tales and legends as inspiration for a picture.
