I needed a wider lens here, and my technique was not all that great, but there is a yet a picture to be made here that can be quite worthy.  Since there is no foliage in this one, I suppose that a much better shot doesn't have to be made before the frost comes.  The subject will still be waiting.

This is a very beautiful composition. the light is perfect,as well as the detailed lines and angles.I agree with Amy, It is one of your best!

Amy and Pnina, thank you both.  Unfortunately, it is a bit soft when viewed full-sized.  It is useable at a reduced sized, but I am not sure how large a print I could get out of it.

I think you really NEED to view this large.  The angles are wonderful and the color against the darkness is striking.
