Great candid closeup of this little creature, a departure from the 'full figure' offerings usually posted here.  (mine included)  I like the light colours which show the detail of the fur better than on a black squirrel.  The favoured feed for  these 'tree rats' in my neighborhood is bagels.  I find the remnants of their lunch in my flower pots around my house.  Wish people would stop that.  Funny to watch them scoot across the lawn with a meal half their body size though.  :-)  Best, LM.
