Part of the legendary Alaska Highway from Alberta-Canada to

Alaska-USA, through the Canadian territories of British Columbia and

Yukon.

A drive of 2288 km, full of impressive landscapes and wilderness at

its best.

It is a really unique experience, which all nature lovers once must enjoy.

Feeling of huge large space,contact with nature all is so well seen from this photo,I think that indeed this is an experience that in each of those 2000and more km delight the eyes and not only,compliments for this capture,maybe we see more from this.

This is a wonderful photo with excellent composition, exquisite autumnal mood and great depth clarity. The snowed capped peak in the distance and dramatic cloud formation enrich existing beautiful composition making this photo quite deserved choice of the National Geographic Award. It seems that many of the fellow PNers know better  than the National Geographic  editors  and  do not  grant this submission with the rating it deserves, it is simply ridiculous!

The quality of this photograph apart from its technical merit -which is impeccable-is its absorbing of the viewer inside it , like if we are in the middle of the Alaska Highway ourselves. The very spot this shot was taken from is an achievement per se , permitting the perfect guiding lines for the sight to rest on the far summits. Last but not least ,the extented color gamut in rendering the foliage of the foreground  trees . 

With submissions like this one, Karolos,I perfectly understand Jorge Fernandez's eagerness for your next post,hence his continuous prompting you for more frequent posts. We simply cannot have enough!
