Hi Mike! Thank you for the comments! This photo was posted because of the colours of the leaf and mushrooms. Here in Finland there are plenty of mushrooms and I am sure that there are also lots of similar species available over there where you pick yours?

If I have been unsure of some species I have taken those to specialists who are around twice a week at the close by ( for certain days in the beginning of the autumn season ) “village mall” – and you have the possibility to consult them on the spot and you are sure to increase the amount of mushrooms you collect as you are bound to get more species every year and minimize the risk of poisoning..
