Hi Pierre, not changing themes. Just happened to catch them shooting a movie on the street this summer. It was quite interesting!!   AJ

I like this kind of picture. In Brazil, we do not have this opportunity because our films are made in the studios. There are few scenes that are taken in the streets, especially those of action. In Brazil, the presence of the camera equipment on the street attracts a crowd of onlookers, damaging the ideal conditions of shooting the action scenes. I see some onlookers at the scene photographed (…must be Brazilians!!!). The framing of the scene, with the proper use of the rule of thirds, and the adequate use of chaos are very good. Considering the conditions of realization of this photo (smokes, winds, spray-water, fires, onlookers...), the sharpness is very good, too. Congratulations. Roldao

An interesting change of pace . . .  Outstanding capture - when I first looked at the thumbnail, I thought you were on assignment in the Middle East.  Then I noticed the smoke and generators, the boom, and the guy in the shorts I took to be the director.  Have you considered a B&W version?

My best,

michael

Thanks Michael. I did consider a B/W version but have not tried it yet(been extremely busy). I'll give it a try.   AJ

Fabulous shot - lots going on!  They had something similar with a loud bang on the street next to my church a couple of months ago in Montreal.
