I spent about 90 minutes at this location this past Friday from about 30 minutes before sunrise to an hour after the sun was up. Not sure if this your cup of tea but I found my time spent there, attempting to capture what I saw, to be very gratifying.

Tony,

a beautiful image with great atmosphere.  You are a fortunate person to be able to visit and photograph such lovely locations.

Beautiful fall colors and good composition. With the fog, it looks a bit cold and damp.

Jon, Maurizio, Ruud, Bill, Tibi and Tommy - Thanks. I am pleased that you like this image. Aesthetics is always a complex animal with the full recognition that one man`s meat is another person`s poison.

I am indeed fortunate that I have access to places like this but it took a 2 hour drive in the dark of early morning to arrive at parc Tremblant 30 minutes before sunrise. It was fogged in but as the morning progressed,, it started to burn off and to my surprise there was a time when the fog increased.

In the past I had focused on Lac munro (10 minutes away) but this time I took a chance on lac chat (Cat Lake) and had no idea what I would encounter. I started shooting and experimenting.

I don`t do many panoramas but this time I tried one with bracketing three images times 6 shifts of the camera (18 images)  - If successful in processing it, I will load it.

All the very best,

PS I have not been submitting my images for rating but will try one in the near future.
