Hunger Games

Boys wandering about city streets prefer to buy a toy gun as Eid gift. It is very common to see young ruffians chasing each other in packs, carrying toy versions of latest guns, hunting each other across the blocks. 

With the state of the world today I find this image very disturbing. I am hoping (assuming actually) that this is staged and that is not a real gun however, the statement it makes is a very powerful one and for that I give you great props. The composition is very nice and the overall soft feel blends very nicely with the clothing. Images like this, that spark conversation or thought, are always a sure sign of a great shot. Very well done.
