I really like your approach here and the way you have set the lady against a city background almost dissolved in light. Strong and original shot, Chuck. I think in general you tend to favor lower key shots, darker and more enclosed environments. This is a refreshing change of pace.

One of your best I think Chuck (however I have so many to catch up on). The lighting is excellent, your model is truly a work of 'Art'. I really like her against the very blurred background. Excellent processing, a signature style!!

Thanks. You're right about my images frequently being dark. I think that comes partially from trying to control the lighting on my model and not having a unattractive background show up.

Thanks for coming by and commenting. I like this one too and it is different from my usual. And I do try to get better all the time.

Chuck.  I agree with Jack and Gail.  Excellent work.  The DOF really makes the model pop and the background is consistent with her appearance.  I also think the pastel background color works really well with the model.  Great shot.  Dana...

It has something about it that reminds me of Cindy Sherman's self-portraits.

 

This is a rather extraordinary piece of work.
