Mark, there are not many photographers that can elevate a photo like this one to art as opposed to pornography, but you have done so. Visually this one morphs from two whisps of lighted smoke to the realization of the couple.

This is another wonderful group of shots. Congratulations.

I agree with Amy, this is a delicate picture in spite of the explicit nudity.

The light seems frontal for both the models, did you combine two different shots or did you use two striplights from 3/4 ? Well done, anyway.

Thank you both for the kind comments.

Amy - I try hard to keep to the artistic side of the art form, even if the subject has an erotic element. I feel it is possible to create good work in that area and am pleased you like my result here.

I like how you feel this is like whips of smoke, I'll have to use that description.

Gabriele - I appreciate your feedback as well.

It is a composite, unusual for me. I tried to light both figures using a single Westcott Ice Light but couldn't work it out with the equipment at hand. They were in these positions as I lighted each of them, hiding the light behind the other.

Thank you for the explanation.

I do like this lighting. It seems that the light comes from their bodies, as if they were illuminating each other :)

From a two model private session. After receiving the comments from Amy

and Gabriele I thought it was time to request general critique. In my reply to

them, I explain the lighting and composite.

The nude in general has always been a controversial subject. The male

nude is even more so. Although this image includes both genders, I hope it

comes across as non-sexual.
