You make me want to go out to the beach for a nice long autumnal walk. But the weather is still too summerish here for a decent autumnal walk - so now your photo has me longing for other times, another place. A daydream. Which is pretty much a great thing for an image to achieve.

Technically, I guess the "longing" is helped by your choice for a rather shallow depth of field; I think it works out really well and avoids it becoming a more standard seascape image.

Wouter, my experience at this location was anything but standard.  I'm glad the image is congruent with that.
