gsphotoguy 3 Posted September 25, 2014 I have to go along with the comments above. The terrific light, and shadow, make this wonderful portrait even better. Her eyes connect with the viewer in a strong way. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted September 25, 2014 Maurizio, The credit must go to the model. She is delightful. Owen, I am glad someone like you likes this. The model loved playing with her hair and I was more than happy to snap her doing so. David, I am glad you stopped by and left a comment. Pierre, You are more than kind. Svetlana, She is a delight to photograph. Mark, I have to agree. This beautiful young lady really knows how to look at a camera. Thanks everyone. I did not think this image would attract so many comments. I am humbled that it did. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted September 29, 2014 This image reminds me to the spirit (and the bloody flesh) of the incomparable films of Akira Kurosawa, "Ran" for example, with this overwhelming epic atmosphere. She is simply lethal, so lethal as the "katana" of those loser, tragic, forgotten heroes of Akira. She is unbeatable, like death is.Why am I speaking about my stupid nightmares? You tell me, who knows. But she is much more than a simple portrait. She is perfect, as perfect as this photograph is. Chapeau mister. Link to comment
