En effet, très belle composition! Love the play of lines. the waves left in the sand by the receding tide in contrast with the stark lines of the tree and clouds but at the same time converging. Very harmonious...

I like the composition of this photo: the sand waves, the strong sky, the sea waves and the angle of it all, well done Laurent! Best regards.

Laurent

A really well composed shot, with lots of elements that really draw the eye into the shot. Love the tones. Best wishes William.

Merci bien!We have good skies here and on this day,the wind stretched that cloud very conveniently for this shot. These ripples in the sand high on shore are wind generated particularly on this day with a forceful NW wind.Thank you again for the kind appreciation.

Thank you my friend. On days like this ,it is better to be on land than at sea as you fully appreciate.

Thank you for viewing and for the kind appreciation. This was an ideal scene for my favorite WA lense with its circular polarizer which gave the tones to both the sky and the sandy beach.Glad you like!

Merci bien! It was one of those lucky moments when everything seemed to fall in place, especially that long cloud.

Missed this one when you first posted it (yes I miss pictures now and again :-)). I really like the way the fallen tree projects into the picture and plays a dynamic role in the composition along with the crossing lines of clouds and the undulation patterns on the sand caused by the wind. It's a picture where all the elements work together very well.

Yes!A tad brighter and the top crop took out the banding from the polarizer.Thank you for looking in and for the suggestion.
