An yesterday visit to a mine friend that has more than 100 homing

pigeons was a very good occasion to have some photos even the subject

was all the time in alert and a good position difficult to have, not

that they afraid by me but because a pair of hawk fly over there

house.Usually when they see hawk they have two choices:go quick as

possible inside or fly also as quick as possible higher than hawk but

even so each week one is victim,we can say that this is a natural

selection and the best remain.

"Pair" or, "Couple" . . . I think either would certainly work!

At least with the Hawk in the sky, it appears that they remained settled enough for you to get a nice shot of them!

The details in the larger version view are exceptional as well as your post processing skills!

Regards always,

Jim,thank you for a nice comment, can be a couple indeed, the left big one is the male and as is seen she is a bit delicate,he looks morose and she very agile.

The supposed by me darkening is very persuasive and has no faults! Gives the picture clear center of attention! Well done as always, Radu! Bravo!

Best regards

Pierre,as I told in the story this kind of subject did not stay where and as we wish for  photo,it was there yard and not so good looking with all those things round them,so I chosen as you observed this kind of presentation and my idea was to have exactly main subject in viewer attention,to be like the light comes from a window somehow and play on pigeons.Thank you for your time here and comment.

Hy Radu,

This is a beautiful composition, excellent captured on the right moment ! It seems that the birds are really posing for you and their posture is suggesting a strong relation between them too !!! A family picture, I'd say ! :)

All the best to you and many other great captures !
