murphymj4803 0 Posted September 21, 2014 This man has such obvious character and you've certainly captured his true essence, well done. Regards, Michael Link to comment
Rick Helmke 342 Posted September 21, 2014 I like it. I like it a lot. You've captured the person here and it's great. Nothing fake in the expression or anywhere else. Ok now for the nitpicking. I'm sitting here wishing for more sharpness, more detail in the eyes, on the face and especially in the mustache. Maybe it is the screen I'm using or the size but I keep wanting more of the fine details. I like the way his hair drops out of focus behind his ears but just want more in the front of his face. scott_murphy5 101 Posted September 22, 2014 This is a great image. I think it would be even more powerful in black and white. Link to comment

MLHankins 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Like the texture in his face very much. Nicely captured. His clear blue eyes provide a great contrast to his weathered skin. Nicely done. Mike. Link to comment
andresfaya 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Nice detail and image overall. I also think B&W could be very suited here especially with the light hair and black hat. Link to comment

LineMartel 6,229 Posted September 22, 2014 Thanks to each of you for your visit and comments. All of my life I have been doing B&W drawing...I find myself struggling with colors, so I decided to experiment more with colors... Here is the B&W version: LINKThanks again for stopping by and for your inputLine Link to comment
CharlesBecker-Toronto 5 Posted September 23, 2014 I really like the color version but have to say that, to me anyway, it's even better in black and white! I just added it to my list of favorites. regards, cb :-) Link to comment
