Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 20, 2014 That's exactly the feeling I got before I even read your title. There seems to be a closeness between the two flowers as they view the sunset. Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted September 20, 2014 A gorgeous shot Pierre. This shows that you are an excellent photographer, in addition to being talented in creating montages, though it could be one too and why not. What is unusual for me in this presentation is that the flowers are facing away from us, which adds to give a story line. Brilliant, I love it, bravo. Link to comment
ruudalbers 1 Posted September 20, 2014 A beautiful result with very nice lighting, Pierre! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 20, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Jack! It wasn't my idea to make this picture, on the previous one there was a similar mood and Tamara Martussevich mentioned that and I instantly made this one with more dramatic sky and more saturated colors and more closeness between the two! Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 20, 2014 John, This is also a montage, my friend and it seem to be a good one since I fooled you! And the idea is, as I said above not mine...I only made an original picture of sunflower from the rear! Thank you for your thorough exploration and nice, positive comment PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 20, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Ruud! You skipped one of my pictures, though, ha! Cheers to that! PDE Link to comment
drkumarioc 0 Posted September 20, 2014 Pierre - Extraordinary imaginative composition. The backside of sunflower-pair contrasting with the blue-black-white sky in background is really appealing. Congratulations & thanks for sharing. Warm regards Link to comment

Vlado 0 Posted September 22, 2014 Very good colours and composition. Adding a baby sunflower might be interesting... Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 22, 2014 As a matter of fact these were baby sunflowers, Vlad! And I had an idea to put a bottle of cooking oil instead, ha! Cheers to that and thank you for your precious visit and ingenious suggestion! PDE Link to comment
maria 7 Posted September 22, 2014 I like more this sky, although pure blue would work as well. First I thought down is some sand, but it is the sunset! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 22, 2014 Thank you Maria, The previous is with almost blue sky and I made this one to be more dramatic sort of! PDE Link to comment
