travel middle england End of season Weston-super-Mare Cafe 1

This is one of a series about travelling around middle (ordinary) England

and in this shot I was trying to show the end of season feel at the English

seaside. A slight grey feeling as the sun disappears and the tourist have

gone home and the children has gone back to school, leaving the cafe

owner only a few more weeks to make money. Tried to get the few figures

symbolically walking away from the cafe.

I needed your commentary to appreciate the "end of season" feeling.  Perhaps, some more empty beach on the left side would have accentuated this feeling.  The image is beautiful, but is too busy and colorful (in a good sense) to relay the sense of emptiness.  Did you try it in BW?
