Matthew Brennan 3 Posted September 20, 2014 Of all the beauty and natural delights I have discovered in two visits to the Pacific North West Coast of America, the bristelcone pines is my favorite place. To see it virtually empty of people and still blanketed with the final remnants of spring's snow in such glorious, sunny conditions was a true privilege. These trees are circa 4,000+ years old, a fact I find remarkable and sobering for my own place in time. I'd been wanting to visit this place for many years and was so pleased to have the lighting conditions for photography on my one and only day's visit. Link to comment
