Fallen!

The nameplate on this old cross broke off under the attack of the

elements.I pushed it back in place before leaving and I think I should

go back to tack it solid.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Perhaps a study in unintentional neglect. It catches the feeling that things fall apart even after things have fallen apart. Photographically, the composition is very good. I like how you have used the cross to divide the picture into natural quadrants.

Has the Frigault family lived there for a long time? Are you related to " Joseph"? Technically well done.

Thank you for the observation and kind appreciation.The front rows of this and many of our cemeteries here are occupied by the oldest occupants;crosses with nameplates as this one which were installed some time ago to replace the original wood crosses which had all but disappeared are now deteriorating and will need renewed attention.
