chiwaz 1 Posted September 16, 2014 Do you think the b/w conversion is ok or too much grey? I cannot define a final conversion. Link to comment
brother_soulnier 0 Posted September 17, 2014 gorgeous model and light, a lot to like here, but I would have preferred her arm out of the way, so her curve was not broken and obstructed. cheers stunning B&W. Link to comment
gooseberry 0 Posted September 17, 2014 No, I wouldn't say it's murky, but it doesn't stand out either. Link to comment
chiwaz 1 Posted September 17, 2014 I have the same feeling, Tomek.Maybe it's the right part of the courtain that has a dull grey tone and casts it all over the picture.I need to rethink the b/w conversion. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 0 Posted September 17, 2014 Caro Gabriele, lavori in Raw? La foto mi piace, ma più che sull'eccesso di grigi trovo che il bianco sia un po' troppo sparato e privo di dettagli, ma non è una critica. Comunque, bravo! Link to comment
Hello Maurizio, thank you for your comment :)Yes, I always shoot in raw format. The window light is all burned up on purpose, as the background was uninteresting and I did not want it to be seen. Maybe in this case the subject is not centered on the back light, and the effect does not work as in the photo of the model standing on the table. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 2 Posted September 17, 2014 I like the tone. There is enough at both ends to anchor the image. The slightly blown out highlights on her are fine, in the context. I also like the composition and her pose and expression. Her arms, and the triangles they form, are effective for me. Link to comment
