John Peri 1,033 Posted September 14, 2014 I admit to being disappointed when I read photo critiques as above. This is about "photography" after all and we address ourselves to persons who supposedly share the same hobby or profession. Nor do the models ever want to read such things. However well meaning they may be, and of course they are, it debases their contribution and reduces them to a piece of flesh. Beautiful composition, well complemented by the vertical lines. The tones are remarkable given the strong background light. Very elegant work, bravo. Link to comment
chiwaz 1 Posted September 14, 2014 Thank you John.I agree with you in regards of the first comment, but I can't feel too hard because this young model is really amazing :)This photo is made by her more than me, as she got in this pose totally by herself.I am a bit uncertain about this rectangular crop, because it's out of every print standard, but I think it helps in soaring her figure. gsphotoguy 3 Posted September 14, 2014 I give your subject credit for having the nerve to stand like that on a table built this way. You have used the light from the window beautifully and composed the photograph well. I also like the presentation in B&W. What I think John was pointing out is that comments on a model's body, even in a positive way, is not constructive on a site dedicated to critiquing photographs. These people, mostly women, allow us the privilege of capturing them without clothes. We need to respect that they are doing so, generally, to contribute to the making of art, not to be reviewed themselves. Link to comment

diver1 0 Posted September 16, 2014 I love the crop and it's perfectly appropriate for this image, screw the print standard and print this baby anyway! Exposer is also very well handled, beautiful image. Link to comment
