Nate Taylor

I don’t know if you remember me telling you that my wife got me a

time machine from the Sharper Image, I decided to give it a try a few

weekends ago.

I went back into Colonial Williamsburg Virginia, USA, the year 1780. I

came across this tailor shop, I asked the gentleman sitting out front

what his business was. He said, “My good man, my name is Nathan

Taylor, I own this tailor shop”. I said wow, that is wild, you’re a tailor

and you have the name is Taylor.

He said yes, he went on to explain that Joshua Baker down the road,

runs a bakery shop, the Smith’s next door have a black smith shop, it

all a part of our sir names.

I told Mr. Taylor that all this was fascinating and then asked him,

where did the name HANDCOCK come from!
