Here's the bluish cast again that seems to be so popular lately.  In a word it sucks in shots like these.  People are not bluish tinged unless dead.  But more specific to of the drum bodies. this photo by cooling it down you lose all the vibrancy of those (got to be vibrant) colors.

Otherwise this is a great shot with good framing and super subjects.

There was no intentional cooling down here- I don't really notice it, although there is a lot of actual blue in there (shirts, cooler in bg) I wonder if it's a monitor thing? Either mine or yours? Anyone else find this the case?

First of all I want to comment on the priceless expression you caught on Butterfly Girl... excellent.

As for the color cast.  Your method of posting would not let me download the image but I clipped a screen capture and established a white control point on the girls shirt with Capture NX2.  I made no other changes and attached the result for your thoughts.  I think it warmed the image significantly.
