Thanks for your nice comment,but as I wa busy and only now I have the time to explain the sitiation. It is the exhibition that was done in the middle of the last conflict with the terror of Hamas in the Gaza strip.This painting was created in1933 as a part of a series and is uptodate in 2014.

It was exhibited in the museum windows in a part of Tel Aviv.

And details...It took place in the "Windows Museum" , at Ramat Aviv.

A floral wreath surrounding a mother holding a child - - there is no more powerful a symbol for peace.  After the disgusting events that continue to occur in your part of the world, I say with complete confidence that anyone affiliated with Hamas, Isis, or any other group promoting hate for hate's sake, should be required to gaze at this.  

This magnificent work of art reminds me of Golda Meir's pronouncement.  "Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us."

It is a part of a series witch is called "The cycle of life" It is a mother holding her son, and is surounded BY a wreath ,witch is the custom to put on a grave .

And this is the name of- LAMENTATION -

but the flowers full of life and colors are the sign of life END, as well as NEW beginning - again. !
