didereaux 1 Posted September 10, 2014 Nicely framed/cropped. Great expressions. Cute subjects, and technically very good. So why am I having trouble liking this? Probably because bluish cast skin invokes images of dead people. Link to comment

gajbarker 0 Posted September 10, 2014 Wim, this is a beautiful and very striking image. For me, it immediately caught my interest and I had to spend time enjoying it. Best wishes. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted September 10, 2014 What a striking pair of young ladies! This image grabbed my attention from the thumbnail and the larger view is even better. I read the above comments with interest and see nothing wrong with the color but, perhaps from the resolution reduction and/or posting to PNet, I sense a slight loss of vibrancy. Being a visual person I did a white balance correction and levels adjustment in Nikon Capture NX and have attached the results. I don't think I can say it's any better but it does have an increased brightness. I made no other corrections. Regardless, a superb casual portrait... Mike Link to comment
wimputs 1 Posted September 10, 2014 It's indeed better. The photo on internet, PN looks not so good, less saturated and vibrant.Perhaps it's the colorspace, I use adobeRGB and should use for internet sRGB. For printing is adobeRGB better. Thank you for the correction. The photo looks much better on PN. Link to comment
JohnWebster 3 Posted September 10, 2014 MLM really made an outstanding adjustment, in my opinion. My adjustment is similar but different. I like the original, also, but would reduce the blue saturation in the clothing. This is a magical image full of wide eyes and smiles of innocence from two girls from fairyland! There are many ways this could be processed depending upon one's preference--and the original communicates for me two girls in the forest. I would crop out the flesh at the top so the person in the background becomes undefinable and the attention stays on the girls. Link to comment
wimputs 1 Posted September 11, 2014 Thanks John.Every year in a small town they have redheadday. Tousands of people with original red hair are comming from all of the world. The organisation ask them to wear blue. It's a great place to make photo's from beautiful and somtimes strange looking people.i can clone or crop the woman in the back, but that is difficult because of the hair..but the photo's is a bit to dark. You right in that. Link to comment
