Before the Storm

This house both intrigues and vexes me - I've shot it before, but this

is the first time with a dramatic sky. It poured rain a few minutes

later.

I completely see the appeal of this house for a photograph. The dramatic sky is a great backdrop. The POV is good too...no power/phone lines, nice leading lines in the driveway. Very nice!

The ominous clouds add to the feeling of isolation at this old house.  The house itself sends a mixed message since it's partially painted and has a relatively modern roof.  I like the dirt drive, something not seen often now.  An excellent image to dissect and enjoy... Mike

It's been years since someone began restoring this place - then abandoned it.  I remember one night - driving past - when a dim light appeared in one of the rooms - never seen since.  There is no electrical power coming to the house . . .
