thadley 10 Posted September 11, 2014 I agree with Raymond re the composition. I like 50% split of the color re walls. You even got some detail in the windows . Congrats on a fine image. Link to comment
cegeiss 6 Posted September 12, 2014 Thank you Raymond and Tony. The image was pretty straight to begin with but I removed some lens distortion and straightened it slightly in post processing. It was shot handheld and pretty quickly on the fly. I opted for the symmetric 50:50 split because the subject seemed rather formal, and I thought the symmetry would work well. I mostly exposed for the highlights and pulled the shadows quite a bit. It was interesting to see how two different Raw processors handled the colors. DxO gave the reflection of the windows a very bluish tint. PS6 gave some less dramatic colors. Link to comment
richard hans 0 Posted September 13, 2014 Hi, Christoph, fantastic capture for indoor, the subtle light makes great effect to reflection and color contrast between warm & cold, nicely perspective for exquisite composition, very well done! Best regards Link to comment
