Thank you for viewing and for the observation.That banding in the sky,less evident in B/W but obviously very noticeable to an alert eye such as yours is caused by using a polarizer on this ultra WA lense.I appreciate it can be distracting as you note and downright irritant to some even if it does not bother me.This can probably be smoothed out in PP,but with better skills than I have.
