Spectacular B&W work . . . The strong shadows really help to emphasize the sea oats and clearly the driftwood.  In turn, the textures in the sand appear to be finely nuanced.  Best of all, the single set of footprints tell a story of an isolated strand of beach which the owner of the footprints shares with the driftwood, the sand, the sea, and the sky.

My sincere congratulations,

michael

Thank you kindly. The scene was very photo inviting;the low sun cast good shadows both from the driftwood and the sand surface rendered coarse by a light rain. You are right about the isolation and this time, the one sharing the scene with the driftwood, the sand, the sea and the sky was holding the camera.....and my dog friend Caramelle, the author of the tracks. It was too late when I called her back as she had already spoiled the undisturbed surface;fortunately, she backtracked in almost the same prints giving the impression of human footprints....and at the same time contributing to the image as you note.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
